Gingoog-
"The City of Goodluck" is in the northern coast of Misamis
Oriental, 122 kilometers east of Cagayan de Oro City and 72 kilometers
west of Butuan City. Its estimated land area is 404 sq. Km bounded
in the east by the municipality of Magsaysay and Agusan Del Norte
in the south, Agusan Del Sur and Bukidnon and part of the municipality
of Claveria, in the east by Balingasag and Medina, Misamis Oriental,
and in the north by the scenic Gingoog Bay.Sixty
percent (60%) of the city's total land area are covered with forest
timberland making Gingoog an ideal abode for wood processing investments.
Commerce and trading
activities are moving toward growth and development resulting from
the high influx of neighboring investors especially from booming CARAGA
Region.Gingoog

depended on the natural bounty of resources such as beaches, 8 notable
waterfalls - making Gingoog as the "City of Waterfalls",

and from other parts of the country.Gngoog is accessible 24 hours
through Public Utility vehicles plying the Davao City-Cagayan de Oro
route. Neighboring coastal municipalities/regions such as Camiguin,
Nasipit can also be reached via private light sea vessels. |
